Due to changes to Internet Explorer and Java occurring in April 2019, Internet Explorer users may not be able to use AUSkey to access online services such as the portals and Online services for agents.
We are recommending AUSkey holders using Internet Explorer switch to Chrome or Firefox browsers.
To make the switch, download the AUSkey installer for Chrome and Firefox
Windows XP and Vista
Windows XP and Vista should work. However, as it is no longer supported by Microsoft, we no longer test this and earlier products. We recommend you upgrade.
AUSkey is compatible with the following browser versions:
- Firefox – current and previous version with a browser extension
- Chrome – current and previous version with a browser extension
- Safari no longer works with Mac operating systems. We recommend switching to Chrome or Firefox browsers.
MAC OSX 10.10 to MAC OSX 10.07 should work. However, as it is no longer supported by Apple with new security updates.
AUSkey on USB won’t work on any Mac operating systems or on Firefox or Safari browsers.
There is limited support available using your AUSkey with Linux.
Many participating government online services are not Linux compatible. While you can install your AUSkey on a Linux platform, access to services may be limited.
